In other news- Whoa! Bam! Did someone same BOWLING?

We are lucky to have here in Reno the National Bowling Stadium! It has been described as:

"The only facility of its kind in the world, the National Bowling Stadium is dedicated to the sport of bowling. Opening in 1995, The Los Angeles Times called it the “Taj Mahal of Tenpins.” Living up to its name, the Stadium was elegantly designed with the tournament bowler in mind."

Unfortunately, common folk like ourselves can't actually bowl there.

And for some of you who had asked, yes, the movie KingPin does theoretically take place in the 'No, but most of it was actually filmed in Pittsburgh, PA. Sorry.

But, what was the best movie ever made that also contained bowling? That's right, The Big Lebowski. And in true WhoaBam form, we will be bowling Lebowski style for our next event!

First Thursday at the art museum- also April 3rd. I heard only 2 folks went last time!
